Our work Open Transmission Channels in Multimode Fiber Cavities with Random Mode Mixing demonstrate the existence of open channels, that is fields that are fully transmitted despite suffering multiple scattering events. Likewise, it demonstrates that the transmission eigenvalues follow a bimodal distribution.
